This build was completed in early 2018. I picked up the Exia while I was holidaying in Malaysia and is one of my last few builds before I switched over to lacquer paint.
So a fun story about this kit, while I was building it I accidentally cut some pegs on the upper arm that I wasn’t supposed to. I was searching for the most cost-effective way of getting a replacement part, and I ended up deciding to buy the P-Bandai Exia R2 since that kit has a spare of the part I needed.
I ended up buying the R2 off eBay, and I got a nice handwritten note in the package. Of course, this is how I ended up meeting Joel from The Hangar Bay.
